Another way to show support is through a donation to CFCA’s Scholarship Fund. You can donate to the Scholarship Fund through our Web site. As I was reading your blog and watching video clips, I was amazed and mesmerized with the reactions and testimonials of some sponsored children and sponsors as well.How CFCA affects the lives of the less fortunate but deserving students physically, emotionally and spiritually.It made me feel proud,lucky and honored that I was once a member of this beautiful family because CFCA is not only there to support the educational needs but also to mould young people to become better individual with sense of responsibilities and determination in life amidst the struggle of poverty.
CFCA will always be a part of our dreams and success in life..

Is there any possibilities that I can contribute and to be of help to other children in the Philippines especially in Zamboanga Project?and also I just want to know how to acquire a copy of *Zamboanga the movie* Concert…Thank you so much and more power CFCA!!

Thank you for your sponsorship and your desire to network with other sponsors in your area. Because of our privacy policy, we are not able to share sponsors’ names and contact information. However, there are some things you can do to meet other CFCA sponsors in your area. If you are connected to a local parish, we suggest planning a social gathering for CFCA sponsors and placing a notice in the parish bulletin with the date, time and place.

If you are interested in raising awareness of CFCA in your local community, I would be happy to speak with you (and anyone else interested) about our advocacy program. This is a grassroots movement comprised of our sponsors volunteering within their own communities to share information about sponsorship and invite others to make a difference in the life of a child, youth or aging person in need.

CFCA never fails to amaze me as to what it accomplishes.
I made a Sponsor trip this last summer ’08 to Guatemala and Nicaragua. I hope the memories will never fade. Friendships were made, and understanding how the poor survive in this world is such a great lesson in life! I have been blessed to get to know them.
Also the staff of CFCA are incredibly energetic and caring. Working every minute to make us comfortable and educating us.

Thank you for your comment. While we do have volunteer opportunities, they require a six- to 12-month commitment on the part of the volunteer.

As an alternative option for your students, we offer two different types of opportunities for people to experience the work of CFCA around the world. We have a mission awareness trip program that offers trips to particular countries where we work. These trips are wonderful opportunities for sponsors to meet their sponsored friend and for others to learn about how CFCA is working to break the cycle of poverty.

The second opportunity is a one-day visit between a sponsor and their sponsored friend, which we call an individual sponsor visit.
