An eLetter is sent directly to the project, but it still needs to be printed, translated and delivered to your sponsored friendís home. So, there may be only a small noticeable difference in the time that it takes to arrive.

We know your sponsored friend will be very excited to receive a letter from you, even if it doesn’t arrive on Christmas Day. We hope this feature makes it easier for you to build a relationship with your sponsored friend.

I have a hard time finding time to print pictures and get to the post office to mail letters, now I can just hop on my computer and keep in touch with my sponsored child. I have a 13 month old son and finally sent a picture of him to my sponsored child today thanks to this new feature. I’ll be able to keep in touch with my sponsored child so much easier now!
