Henry,
It is so nice to see your picture after all the letters I have written to your attention for my sponsered child, Alexander. I am truly amazed at your dedication and love for these children.
Being a sponser for "Alex" has been an honor. He is a wonderful boy, and I know from his letters that the CFCA program has helped him and his family immensely. God bless you and the others for all your hard work. You are an angel!

I have been a sponsor for a couple years now. I look for ways to keep charity alive. My husband does not always want to get involved however, I live in the area of the parish where he grew up now and they had a beautiful display of children and young adults who are looking for a sponsor. My husband and I agreed on one and it has been exciting for us. This year I invited my husband to come along and stand by a table with me and just share the truth of how love can be exciting. Love that is kept inside will surely die some day, but the good and gracious God is always at work in those of us who trust in Him. I hope to pray continuously for the increase of volunteers in this regard and because it is natural for Catholics to think on a global level and work personally in some way. Even the little we give may multiply. So a little is not too little and much is not too much. May God bless us in the capacity and love that we honestly strive to bring to him and I pray that in a very natural way we will always learn as we give and be the person God created us to be.
Thank you very much for being open and honest about another facet of the realities.
You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
Am very, very grateful for your dedication and fortitude and for using the gifts the Holy Spirit bestowed on you.
