Hi Tom,

Hopeforafamily.org is our main CFCA website. This blog is featured within our website and highlights personal stories, ideas and comments from within our CFCA community.

I like to think of it this way ñ Hopeforafamily.org is like our main office building, but the blog is like a big room or hallway inside the building.

Hope this helps!

Thanks very much for that suggestion. I hadn't thought of mentioning my sponsored child during prayers in church, but it makes perfect sense. Much appreciated.

Be sure to add the name of your sponsored person to your own thanksgiving prayers, and those of your church. In the Episcopal Church, we have the Prayers of the People at every celebration of the Holy Eucharist. This is a wonderful place to have the name added, which also causes others to ask who this person is. Perhaps they will be moved to sponsor someone as well.

In our family we created a new tradition. We all write down 2 things we are thankful for on small slips of paper. Then we fold the papers and bake them into crescent rolls. Whenever someone takes a roll and breaks the bread they get to read the thankful note.
