Although my in laws are technically her sponsors, the entire family considers Silvia (from Guatemala) “ours.” I had the extreme good fortune to meet her while on a Mission Awareness Trip last week, along with my 15 year old daughter. She and her mom remembered the drawings my daughter made for Silvia many years ago. They really do value and treasure the communication between sponsors and sponsorees!
