Our 1st sponsored child in Guatemala is now 21 and has a year old son. She recently wrote that she is taking tailoring courses and to learn to use a weaving maching and to make aprons, blouses and many more things. She wants to keep learning and we are so grateful to CFCA for allowing her to continue her education and allowing us to continue sponsoring her to help her and her family. We met them in 1999 and 2003 and encourage anyone who has not gone on a Mission Awareness Trip to do it. The trips really opened our eyes to the difficulties that our families deal with and meeting our 3 sponsored children and their families were life-changing events. They are all part of our family and we love them so much. Thanks so much to all the CFCA staff for making all of this possible.
