A surprise meeting

This is the email we received from Judith Bautista, project coordinator for Bogotá, Colombia, on Sunday. They expected Bob and Walk2gether to arrive at the border Sunday morning, so they received a pleasant surprise Saturday afternoon.
Today, something very exciting happened on the Colombia/Venezuela border. The Cartagena project and I met together, finalizing details to receive Bob and the walk team from Venezuela tomorrow (Sunday), when suddenly I saw a multitude of reflective jackets, everyone was holding hands and in the front walked Bob. It was very exciting, beautiful, encouraging, emotional, totally inspiring … It was one of those moments. There were hugs and much emotion but above all, happiness of meeting and a celebration of life …
Today we are excited, we await the passing hours in order to meet each other again and begin walking together.

Wow!!! It is hard to believe that you are already in Columbia. There is still a long road ahead but look how far you have come. God bless you, Cristina, and all of the walkers.
