Reading this post from Bob and the comment made from the recent trip, just returns me to our trip to Costa Rica on a previous MAT trip with my son, Quincy, then 11 years old. It was a profound trip for the two of us...and had affected us every day of our lives. We felt so connected with our sponsored by and his family. We still do! CFCA really helps empower the people, giving them the dignity they deserve. We, who are so privileged to witness this program in action, can only "sing the song that must be sung" to those around us. Bob and Cristina, God bless you. For other sponsors out there..PLEASE go see your children, if you are able. It is a life-changing experience!!!

I was fortunate enough to be on this mission trip to Costa Rica. There are no words to describe the joy I felt in meeting my sponsored girl. Years of writing and sharing pictures and drawings developed the love we both feel for each other. My heart overflowed the moment I saw here. Everyone involved with this trip is truly an Angel of God ñ Bob & Cristina, staff workers, volunteers, our bus driver, the sponsors, the aging and the children. It was an experience I will never forget and I have relived every day since returning home. Never have I experienced a welcome as we did when were arrived at each community. The food, the music, the dancers ñ everything was beyond all imagination. Every child was so loving and special. Love flowed freely this week in Costa Rica. The work that CFCA does is amazing and I am proud to have seen this mission in action and to be a very small part of it. Thank you for changing my life CFCA! God Bless each and everyone of you.
